240 DEGREE 3D PROJECTION MAPPING, Custom Content, playback and more...

Challenges like these don't come around everyday. The enormity of the task to make this production happen was only trumped by our total excitement to do it. Accurately mapping a 20 foot human head at 240 degrees, create 24 pieces of hard hitting killer content, and a custom system to sync both video and lighting to the natural control of the DJ ended up being one of the most gratifying projects for our live show team ever.

GOODTHEORY MAKES 'FIGHTERS FIRST'!

 A SPIKE SPORTS & BELLATOR MMA CASE STUDY

We designed and developed 'Fighter First' video content and playback system(s) for Bellator MMA 'Glory Walks' for Spike Sports.

Key goals.
Video Content packages that focus on creating A LARGER THAN LIFE 'Hero' moment for each fighter bringing both the viewers in the audience and at home closer to the personality and style of each MMA fighter.

Develop a show flow that works with the mechanical and physical properties of the custom 3-mil LED Stage screens, in several versions and with other in-show elements like pyro-FX and lighting.

Integrate with both the Bellator Executive Creative Director/Coordinating Producer, Stu Wiener and the Broadcast Spike Sports Director Rick Beczynski. Satisfying both on-air and in-house audiences with live in-show screen elements.

Develop a sustainable and affordable a three-week production cycle, in different locations, and in various configurations, keeping standards that meet all creative and logistical demands under the direction of Spike Sports VP Scott Fishman and Bellator Exec. V.P. of Production, Mike Sarnoski.

Serendipity Brands Goes National!

About the brand:

Goodtheory Studios partnered with digital agency C4 Social to produce several digital assets for Serendipity Brands. Inspired by the iconic Serendipity 3, Serendipity Brands is a new line of super-premium and indulgent ice cream influenced by the desserts made famous by the celebrity-loved New York City restaurant. Serendipity pints offer an indulgent mix of flavors that provide an incredible taste, perfect creamy texture and truly decadent experience in every bite. 

The goal:

With a national release pending, it was essential to grab attention on social with an engaging, unique spin on the eight flavors being released in retail. With many established competitors already in the space, the brand needed to stand out from the crowd by capitalizing on its name recognition while at the same time generating buzz and excitement nationwide.

The results:

A successful, highly relevant social media campaign, spanning Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube that garnered millions of impressions nationwide.
